Consistency in trading is not a personality trait. It is not something some people have and others do not. It is the output of a repeatable process applied week after week regardless of how recent results felt. The traders who trade consistently well over years are not the most talented ones — they are the ones who built a workflow and stuck to it when following it was hard.

This lesson pulls the entire Module 9 workflow together into one repeating loop — the weekly cycle of preparation, execution, journaling, and review that, when maintained for months, produces the kind of consistency that makes the method's edge visible in the account balance.

Consistency is not about trading perfectly. It is about following the process faithfully — including the parts of the process that tell you not to trade.

The Complete Weekly Loop

Here is the full weekly workflow mapped into a single repeating sequence. This is what a consistent trading week looks like from Sunday evening through to the following Sunday. Run it every week. The same sequence. Every time.

6:00 PM ET Sunday Sunday Routine — 20–30 minutes Review last week's journal. Mark prior week's high and low. Assess weekly EMA bias. Check news calendar. Rate each day. Mark key levels. Note ADR. Write the weekly bias statement. 2:30 AM ET Mon–Thu Pre-Session Checklist — 15 minutes Run all ten checklist items. Write the session plan. Calculate the lot size. Set the environment. Be ready at 3:00 AM. If the plan cannot be written — no trade today. 3:00 AM ET Mon–Thu London Session — Active Window Watch for the stop hunt. Wait for the M or W. Execute the entry if the signal confirms. Manage the trade through the levels. Exit by the rules — clock, target, or stop. Check in every 15–30 minutes only. Post-session Mon–Thu Journal Entry — 2–3 minutes Record the session immediately before any other activity. Date, pair, Asian range, stop hunt, M/W, entry, stop, exit, result, one sentence. No-trade days: date, pair, reason. Close the journal. Close the platform. No session Friday Friday — Off or Intraday Only No swing holds open into the weekend. No new swing entries. A rested trader on Monday makes better decisions than an exhausted one who spent the weekend in front of a screen. The Consistency Minimum

The weekly loop above is the consistency minimum — not the ceiling. Running it for one week produces very little. Running it for twelve consecutive weeks without skipping any step, regardless of whether recent results have been good or poor, is when the process becomes habitual and the edge in the method becomes visible in the account data.

Twelve weeks. That is the target. Not perfection — consistency. One session at a time, one week at a time, one correct decision at a time.

What Breaks Consistency — and How to Protect It

The weekly loop is simple. What breaks it is not complexity — it is the same handful of disruptions that affect every trader who tries to build a consistent routine. Knowing them in advance means recognising them when they arrive and not letting them derail the process.

A bad week. After a week of losses, the Sunday routine feels pointless. The temptation is to skip it — to take a break from "all of this" until things feel better. This is exactly the wrong response. A bad week is when the routine matters most — because the review surfaces what went wrong and the bias statement for the new week resets the context. Do the Sunday routine especially after bad weeks.
A great week. After a week of strong results, overconfidence creeps in. The pre-session checklist feels unnecessary — "I already know what I am looking for." Skipped checklist items lead to forced trades and checklist-free entries that do not qualify. The best sessions are followed by the most dangerous next sessions. Keep the routine regardless of recent results.
Life disruption. Illness, travel, family obligations — the routine gets interrupted. The correct response is not to trade through the disruption at reduced quality. It is to skip the sessions cleanly, log the days as no-trade, and return to the full routine when the disruption has passed. A week of clean no-trades costs nothing. A week of distracted trading during a disruption can cost significantly.
Boredom with the process. After several weeks of running the same checklist and writing the same journal entries, it can feel mechanical and unnecessary. This feeling is not a signal that the process is no longer needed — it is a signal that the process is working. The routine becoming habitual is the goal. Mechanical execution of a correct process is more valuable than excited execution of an inconsistent one.

The Long View

Twelve weeks of consistent execution produces something that no amount of analysis or study can produce: real data about your own performance. After twelve weeks of complete journal entries and weekly reviews, you will know your personal win rate, your best sessions, your recurring errors, and whether the method is producing an edge in your hands. That data is worth more than any trading course, any mentor, and any market insight — because it is specific to you, your execution, and your results.

The process described in this module is the mechanism that generates that data. Follow it faithfully for twelve weeks. Then review the data. The evidence of what works and what needs improving will be right there in the journal — in your own handwriting, from your own sessions.
