Module 11 — Lesson 1

Everything in this course has been building toward this lesson. The sessions, the cycle mechanics, the chart setup, the complete trade, the pairs, the weekly cycle, the position sizing, the workflow, the psychology — all of it now gets applied to one complete trading week, read from Sunday night through to Friday's close.

This walkthrough uses illustrative price levels on GBP/USD M15 to demonstrate how a real week unfolds — the good sessions, the no-trade days, the swing conversion, the drawdown management, and the Sunday-to-Sunday process that holds it all together. The price levels and pip counts shown are constructed to demonstrate the concepts clearly. Your video lesson for this module will walk through a real chart week so you can see exactly how the written walkthrough maps to live price action.

Read this lesson as if you are sitting beside someone who has been trading this method for years, watching their screen from Sunday evening through Friday afternoon. Every decision they make is explained as it happens. Every skip is a decision. Every entry is earned. Every exit is deliberate.

The Setup — Sunday Evening

It is 6 PM ET on Sunday. The weekly reset has just occurred. The chart is open. Here is the Sunday routine applied in sequence.

Last week's journal review: two winning trades — Tuesday +87 pip, Wednesday +54 pip — and one no-trade day on Thursday. Total: +141 pip for the week. Rule compliance rate: 100%. A clean week. Account balance up approximately 2.8% at 2% risk per trade.

Prior week's high marked at 1.2820. Prior week's low marked at 1.2661. A 159-pip weekly range — standard. Both horizontal lines drawn and labelled on the chart.

Weekly EMA bias: price is below the blue 200 EMA and the white 800 EMA. Macro bias is bearish. Short setups this week carry the weekly bias. Long setups are valid intraday but carry reduced conviction against the macro.

News calendar: no high-impact events Monday through Wednesday. Thursday at 8:30 AM ET — US Initial Jobless Claims, medium impact. Friday at 8:30 AM ET — NFP. Friday is off regardless. Thursday London session is clean but the New York open requires awareness.

Weekly bias statement written in the journal: "GBP/USD — bearish macro bias, prior week low at 1.2661 as primary stop hunt target for the week. Tuesday London primary session. No significant news until Thursday. Looking for a downside stop hunt below prior week's low during Tuesday or Wednesday London."

Monday Weekly Accumulation — Reduced Session Reduced Size

Pre-session read at 2:30 AM: Asian range 41 pip. Wider than ideal but manageable. First directional spike during Asia was upward — 18 pip above the range midpoint. No clean equal highs or equal lows. No major confluence levels immediately outside the box. The session plan is unclear — the stop hunt direction is not definitively identifiable from the overnight structure.

Decision: no trade today. Monday with no clear setup and a 41-pip Asian range does not justify an entry, especially at the start of the week with the primary sessions still ahead. The plan is written as "stand aside — no identifiable stop hunt target, Monday reduced quality, primary sessions Tuesday and Wednesday."

London opens. Price chops in both directions without forming a clean 3-push sequence in either direction. The absence of a defined range confirms the Monday no-trade decision was correct. Platform closed at 5:00 AM ET.

Pre-session read at 2:30 AM: Asian range 24 pip — tight. Wound-up spring. First directional spike during Asia was upward — 12 pip above the midpoint — then returned inside the range. Equal lows visible at 1.2668 — two clean touches. Prior week's low sitting at 1.2661 — just 7 pip below the equal lows. Big figure at 1.2650 — 18 pip below the equal lows. Three-way confluence below the range: equal lows, prior week's low, and the big figure all within a 18-pip band. The stop hunt target is exceptionally clear.

Session plan written at 2:45 AM: "GBP/USD short — Asian range 24 pip, equal lows at 1.2668, prior week's low at 1.2661, big figure at 1.2650 below. Expecting stop hunt downward to sweep 1.2661 and possibly reach 1.2650. Watching for W formation at the LOD. Entry on Leg 2 bullish close. Stop 7 pip below Leg 1. Target 50 pip minimum."

London opens at 3:00 AM. Price immediately begins dropping. Push 1 drives 22 pip below the Asian range low — through 1.2668, the equal lows are swept. Retail sell-stop traders triggered. A brief pause of 4 candles. Push 2 adds another 18 pip — price reaches 1.2648, below the big figure. More stops triggered. A second brief consolidation. Push 3 — a final 8-pip push to 1.2640 with a visible pin candle. Upper wick longer than the body. Volume spike on that candle. Equal lows tagged. Prior week's low swept. Big figure cleared. All three completion signals present.

The W formation begins developing. Leg 1 is set at 1.2640. Price retraces 22 pip upward — back toward the Asian range low. The retracement takes 35 minutes across 3 candles. Then Leg 2 develops — price moves back toward 1.2640. Leg 2 reaches 1.2644 — 4 pip above Leg 1 — and the M15 candle closes bullish at 1.2649. Leg 2 respected Leg 1 precisely. The W formation is confirmed.

Entry placed at market at 4:52 AM: Long at 1.2650. Stop placed immediately at 1.2633 — 7 pip below Leg 1 at 1.2640. Take profit set at 1.2700 — 50 pip above entry. Two-hour clock noted: expiry at 6:52 AM. Position size: 2% risk on current balance.

Level I fires immediately. Strong directional candles moving upward. Yellow 5 crosses above 8. Price pulling cleanly above the red 13 EMA. At 5:28 AM price reaches 1.2700 — 50 pip. Stop moved to breakeven at 1.2650. Take profit order removed. Position running risk-free.

Level I consolidation begins at 5:45 AM. Price chops between 1.2695 and 1.2712 for 40 minutes. The temptation to exit is noted — named and set aside. Stop at breakeven survives the entire consolidation without being approached. At 6:25 AM a clear bullish resolution candle closes above 1.2712. Level I consolidation complete.

The Level II scale-in is considered: weekly bias is bearish — this is a counter-trend long within the daily cycle. Scale-in is decided against. Hold the original position only and trail through Level II without adding. Stop moved behind the consolidation low at 1.2694.

Level II runs from 1.2712 to 1.2758 over the next 55 minutes. Level III character begins appearing at 7:30 AM — candles widening, direction becoming irregular. ADR has been reached. At 7:38 AM, trailing stop hit at 1.2741. Trade closed.

Result: Long 1.2650, exit 1.2741. +91 pip. Rules followed completely. Swing conversion considered and correctly decided against given counter-trend context. Journal entry written. Platform closed.

Pre-session read at 2:30 AM: Account is up following Tuesday's result. Asian range 31 pip — standard. After Tuesday's strong upward move, the weekly cycle is now in Phase 3 continuation. The macro bias remains bearish on the weekly — but the daily cycle produced a bullish move on Tuesday. Wednesday's question: does the daily cycle continue in the same upward direction, or does it reverse back into the weekly bearish bias?

The Asian session showed a first spike downward — inducement. Equal highs have formed at the top of the Asian range at 1.2762 — 4 pip above the range high. Pivot R1 sits at 1.2768. The prior week's high is at 1.2820 — well above. The confluence above the range is clear. The week's macro bias is bearish — but the daily cycle is showing accumulation for an upward stop hunt on Wednesday London. This is a Wednesday continuation of Tuesday's upward daily move, now testing the next resistance cluster above.

Session plan: "Watching for upward stop hunt above 1.2762 equal highs, possibly reaching pivot R1 at 1.2768. If M formation follows at the HOD — short entry. Aligned with weekly bearish bias. Full conviction."

London fires upward. Stop hunt reaches 1.2771 — clearing the equal highs and the pivot level. Pin candle at the HOD. M formation develops cleanly. Entry: Short 1.2758, stop 7 pip above Leg 1. Trade runs to 50 pip, stop moved to breakeven. Level I consolidation holds. Level II continues. Final exit at trailing stop: +68 pip. Weekly bias alignment on this trade — maximum conviction confirmed in the result.

Pre-session read at 2:30 AM: The week has already produced 159 pip across two winning trades. Both prior week high and low have now been tested. The weekly cycle has largely completed its institutional range for the week. The ADR for Thursday's session shows the pair has been running elevated ranges Monday through Wednesday — Thursday often sees a quieter mean reversion session.

Asian range: 38 pip. Manageable but not tight. Equal highs present at the top of the range but the confluence is thin — no major big figure or pivot level aligning with them within 15 pip. The session plan is written but the conviction is reduced: "Setup exists but thin. Jobless Claims at 8:30 AM ET adds event risk. If setup fires — 1% risk, 23-pip stop, standard target only. No scale-in."

London opens. A stop hunt develops upward — 2 pushes. The third push is weak and indecisive — the candle at the extreme is a doji rather than a clear pin. Completion signals are not convincing. The M or W that begins to develop shows Leg 2 approaching Leg 1 but with no clear directional close. The setup is marginal at every checkpoint.

Decision at 4:20 AM: Stand aside. The setup does not meet the minimum criteria for a confident entry. Two of the five completion signals are absent. The Leg 2 candle has not closed with a clear directional body. The journal note: "Marginal setup — chose discipline over desperation. Thursday late-week session. No trade."

At 8:30 AM Jobless Claims fire — price spikes 40 pip in 2 minutes. Had a marginal entry been taken it would have been stopped out during this spike. The no-trade decision was correct for multiple reasons that only became fully clear after the session. This is routine. The no-trade rule does not require justification after the fact. It requires the correct assessment before.

NFP at 8:30 AM ET. No positions open. No new entries considered. The week is complete. The chart is reviewed briefly to note the weekly close and update the prior week's high and low for the coming Sunday routine. Platform closed. Week done.

This is not a wasted morning. Identifying the Friday as a no-trade day from the Sunday routine means no alarm at 2:30 AM. No chart time. No session energy spent. A full night's sleep that feeds directly into a better Sunday routine and a cleaner Monday. The decision to not trade Friday is as deliberate and as valuable as any entry taken during the week.

This was a strong week — but notice what made it strong. Not trading every day. Not forcing setups on Monday or Thursday. Not scaling in on the counter-trend Tuesday trade. Waiting for the two sessions where the conditions were clear — and then executing those sessions with complete rule compliance from entry through exit through platform close.

The two no-trade decisions were as important as the two winning trades. Monday's skip prevented a low-quality entry on a session with no clear target. Thursday's skip avoided a marginal setup in a late-week environment with active event risk. Neither skip felt entirely comfortable in the moment. Both were the correct decision.

What This Week Demonstrates

A week like this — two trades, two wins, three skips — does not happen every week. Some weeks produce one trade. Some weeks produce no valid setups at all. Some weeks produce two losses and a scratch. The point of the walkthrough is not to show the ideal week. It is to show the ideal process applied to a representative week.

The Sunday routine established the frame. The daily checklist filtered the sessions. The pre-session plan eliminated the Monday and Thursday trades before they could be forced. The entry criteria ensured both trades were taken at the correct signal. The management rules produced exits that captured the majority of the Level I and Level II moves. The journal captured all of it.

Run that same process every week for twelve weeks. The results will vary — some weeks will be quiet, some will be exceptional, some will include losses. But the process, maintained consistently, is what allows the edge to compound over time. That is the entire point. That has always been the entire point.
